Blair Kuhnen
Vice President/GM, Consumer Business Unit
Blair Kuhnen brings more than 15 years of marketing experience to BHI. Kuhnen has served as an executive for a top 5 builder, a consultant to leading builders, and a product management executive for branded Internet companies; blending these disciplines enables him to help homebuilders leverage the Internet. He joined BHI as VP of marketing in March 2007 and is responsible for the Consumer Business Unit, which includes www.newhomesource.com.
Before coming to BHI, Kuhnen served as SVP at Crozier & Henderson Productions, a Dallas-based builder marketing company, beginning in 2004. Prior to Crozier & Henderson, Kuhnen led Lux Solutions, Inc., a homebuilder consulting and Web development company he founded. His entry into the homebuilding industry came in 2000 with his role at Centex Homes as Vice President of Internet Marketing.
Kuhnen's background in product marketing comes from extensive interactive marketing work dating from 1995, as Director of Content Strategy for Sabre, Inc., Director of Business Development for Travelocity.com, and Head of Product Management for Ameritrade, Inc. Prior to these appointments, Kuhnen served in various financial, marketing, and sales management roles at Sabre/American Airlines.
Kuhnen received his M.B.A. and B.S. from Texas Christian University.
