-Central Texas Association for Corporate Growth selects award winners-

The Central Texas Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG), a global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions, today publicly announced the winners of the Central Texas Chapter Growth Awards. Both Austin and San Antonio area companies were nominated for the honors.
The ACG Chapter Corporate Growth awards recognize excellence in sustained growth and financial performance in companies within three categories: revenues up to $25 million, revenues between $25-$100 million, and revenues greater than $100 million. The Central Texas award winner in the first bracket of companies, those demonstrating outstanding performance with revenues up to $25 million, was Builder Homesite, Inc. CreditCards.com was selected for its achievement in the $25 – $100 million category, and Keller Williams Realty was the award winner among companies with over $100 million in revenue.
Finalists in the selection process included CoCom Cabling Systems, MessageOne, Austin Ribbon and Computer Supplies, Inc. (ARC), Four Hands, ArthroCare Corporation and Kinetic Concepts, Inc. These companies were acknowledged for their impressive performance and ranking in the competition.
One of the fastest growing ACG chapters nationally, the Central Texas organization has tripled its growth within the last year. The Central Texas Chapter of ACG began participating in the award programs in 2006 when it hosted its first event recognizing local companies. The second Central Texas Chapter Growth awards event was held recently on June 20,2007.
One of the three award-winning companies will be nominated for the upcoming International Association for Corporate Growth’s prestigious 2008 Emerging Growth award. The ACG International Outstanding Corporate Growth and Emerging Growth awards are longstanding accolades made annually in recognition of companies who have achieved meritorious levels of growth and performance.
Past International winners include; Johnson Controls, Cisco Systems, Amgen, Bausch & Lomb, Motorola and many other leading American companies. Last year’s local winners were Whole Foods Market, Valero Energy, Motion Computing, and Rackspace Managed Hosting.
