New partnership will facilitate builder advertising on web sites of over 140 leading newspapers
AUSTIN, Texas-February 18, 2003 – Builder Homesite, Inc. (BHI) announced today a partnership with Classified Ventures, LLC (CV) to provide new home community listings and data management services for its HomeScape ASP real estate Web customers. As part of the arrangement, Classified Venture’s network of over 140 newspapers will now have access to the online new home data of the BHI builder consortium, as well as its NewHomeSource.com data collection and management technologies to service their builder online advertisers.
NewHomeSource.com (NHS), the first product launched by BHI, currently maintains data for over 4,500 new home communities across the US. “We are pleased to offer this service to top newspapers across the country, and our builders are happy that this arrangement will make it easier for them to reach the growing online audience in so many top builder markets,” says Tim Costello, CEO of BHI.
Daniel A. Jauernig, president and chief executive officer of Classified Ventures, said, “We are happy to have access to BHI’s builder consortium data for our newspapers. Builders have been relying on newspapers for years to get their message out to new home buyers, and this partnership will help enrich that marketing relationship for years to come.”
Speaking on behalf of the BHI builder consortium, Ian J. McCarthy, president and CEO of Beazer Homes and member of the Builder Homesite Board of Directors, also looks for the relationship to help create operational efficiencies. “One of the goals of BHI is to help builders reduce the cost of listing homes online by streamlining the process. This partnership goes a long way toward building the hub and spoke data management system that helps our local online marketing efforts become more efficient.”
