New partnership gives SpatialMatch users access to thousands of new home community listings from leading builders across the country
Austin, TX – 2010 – Builders Digital Experience (BDX), leading provider of digital marketing resources for builders, announced today they are now the exclusive provider of new home listings for SpatialMatch.com, the first real estate search platform to fully enable geospatial map-based search. Now home buyers who use SpatialMatch’s neighborhood and lifestyle search technology to find homes in areas that ‘fit’ their lifestyle needs will also have access to thousands of new home community listings through the extensive BDX network.
The partnership also allows BDX to provide another distribution outlet for builders who are looking to reach new home shoppers online and is part of a larger BDX strategy designed to help builders “List Once and Be Everywhere”. In addition to hundreds of partner sites, the BDX network includes NewHomeSource and Move New Homes, the number one and number two new home websites. Collectively, the BDX network reaches over 40 million potential new home buyers each month.
“We are very excited about adding this national footprint of high quality new construction data and content from BDX,” said John Perkins, CEO of Home Junction, Inc., creators of SpatialMatch™. “Allowing the viewing of the new construction data and resale housing data on the SpatialMatch™ platform allows for a better user experience and a more effective team approach between the resale agent and the new home builders”.
Realtors and real estate agents embed the SpatialMatch mapping technology onto their web sites. This gives their home buying clients the ability to visually search for their next home based on their lifestyle preferences such as types of schools, restaurants, attractions, parks, etc. Additional functionality permits them to determine the proximity of these amenities to the homes they are considering. Now, there is a category titled “New Construction” where visitors can also include in their search the location of new homes and new home communities built in the area. The “Quick Facts” window provides information on the builder, prices, size, number of beds and bathrooms. For more information, visitors can click on “More Details” to read an in-depth description of the property with photos, floor plans, directions, promotional material, and who to contact. Because visitors must enter their email address to save the information they gather in their SpatialMatch™ searches, this new feature is both a lead generation and an information gathering tool. For the consumers who are considering the purchase of a new home, it will helps real estate agents with gaining additional insight about how to better serve them. Agents can then address their customer need more effectively and ‘walk them in’ or ‘register them’ with builders in their area and openly discuss the topic with their customer. “SpatialMatch’s technology allows agents and brokers to show home buyers how to narrow down the homes they might consider by overlaying different layers right on the map for each of their preferences. This valuable and up-to-date new construction data is a crucial element they can add in their search,” Perkins added. Realtor and real estate agents can view a demonstration of the SpatialMatch platform at www.spatialmatch.com.
